About
How we check prices
The Tea Bill tells you what afternoon tea costs before you book: the price per person, what you pay with champagne, whether there's a vegan or gluten-free version, and what to wear.
Where the prices come from
Every price is read by hand from the tea's own website or booking page: the hotel, tea room or shop that serves it, never a voucher site or blog. Each tea shows the month we checked it and links to the page we read. Prices are per adult, before any service charge, unless the tea says otherwise.
Which teas we include
We start with the afternoon teas people already know and trust: award winners, the grand hotels and the teas guidebooks recommend. We don't rate or review them ourselves.
How we make money
Some links on this site will earn us a small commission if you buy through them, such as afternoon tea gift vouchers or table bookings. It never changes the price you pay, which teas we include or the order they appear in. We'll label every link like this clearly.
Independent
The Tea Bill is independent. It isn't connected with, or endorsed by, any hotel, tea room, award or guidebook mentioned here.
Spotted a change?
Prices change, often each season. If you see one that's out of date, please tell us and we'll check it again.
